Today’s post is about the subject of the relationship checkup. This is a way to document your feelings about the state of your relationship in six different categories. It also works well if you are trying to get ex back. You basically rate the relationship in categories ranging from Love, to Friendship, to Fidelity - even Freedom and Honesty. You honestly score the relationship from 1 - 5 in each of those categories, ending in the summary one called Happiness and Contentment. You then share this with your partner and get their views on yours as well as their score of the relationship as well. Then you talk through the categories, point by point so you both understand how the other party came to their conclusions. Finally, you try and work out some specific things that you both can do to raise your partner’s score - and their happiness. It also is great for people who are trying to get your ex back.

The most wonderful thing that can happen to lost love is for it to be rediscovered and recommitted. There are thousands of couples every day who recognize that their decision to separate was perhaps a bit hasty. Those lucky enough to swallow their pride and make a second attempt are often given what everyone in this life wants - a second chance. If it is a second chance at happiness, then that makes it just that much more glorious. If you are trying to get ex back and it seems like an uphill battle, just remember all those who went before you and made that difficult first call or scheduled that first ‘accidental’ meeting with your ex lover.
